I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Super friendly staff, clean rooms, delicious breakfast. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely be staying here again.

Good hotel

I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was. Stefan and team are a fantastic crew. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is made-to-order every day and DELICIOUS. We stay here ever time we are transiting in/out of the area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! -J

Clean and ok, but a bit old-fashioned

I loved the hotel, they have great hospitality and I have history despite being in the same family for many generations, it shows how modern it is and the friendliness of the owners, the rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable, I recommend it and would come back

We stayed in the Ramsteiner Hof as a couple and by far this was my best hotel experience in this area. The rooms are very clean, spacious, well maintained and the typical German flair. Staff is super friendly and they always go the extra mile for your needs and your well being. It doesn't matter if you stay long term o with your family some days, this hotel is the right place for everyone. Highly recommend and we hope that we are soon back in Germany.

Not very nice from the inside very tightly built

Building historically, room unfortunately with carpet, bed sufficiently large, mattress ok, TV very small, fridge in the room old, bathroom a bit noisy when in the morning at 5:30 o'clock already jmd shower .... but the breakfast is sensational!

I am pleased to provide a review of the Ramsteiner Hof . I travel often and often for extended periods of time, and often internationally. For example, in 2018, I experienced over one hundred nights in a hotel or a hotel-like accommodation - almost 33% of the year. When I consider lodging I look for the convenience, the comfort, something quiet, preferably not a chain, and good customer service. In western Europe, this often translates to a family owned/operated business. Near Ramstein Air Base in Germany, I found the Ramsteiner Hof, a privately owned, and third generation operated hotel which offers everything I need in a hotel property. The owners are Stefan Hechler and his wife Tanja. They are on-site 24/7, attending to their guests with the utmost efficiency. The Ramsteiner Hof has an excellent breakfast selection, a restaurant, beverages, superb quarters, ample parking and is conveniently located to the village of Ramstein-Miesenbach and the Air Base. The property is quiet, and clean, with manicured grounds, including a gazebo. The rooms are well sized and airy, with large private baths, and 21st century cable television and excellent WiFi. Although a historical building, circa 1761, with considerable modernization over the years, it retains the charm and warmth of an 18th century wayside inn. The Ramsteiner Hof is one of the best hotels I have experienced in my global travels. The Hechler family goes out of its way to ensure that their guests are completely satisfied throughout their stay. This is my go-to choice when visiting Ramstein. I am a frequent traveler to all parts of the globe, and the Ramsteiner Hof is one of my all-time favorite places to stay. Here's why: The accommodations are comfortable and feel like home. The breakfast (including made-to-order items) is always delicious. The owners always make me feel welcome. The place is super convenient for getting to and from the Ramstein Air Base. The property has that old-European charm. It's beautiful. If you're traveling to Ramstein Air Base, or you're just looking for a great place to stay in Germany, check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

Excellence service! The breakfasts are to die for. Room service took care of my room leaving it spotless every time.

Great room and good food, very personable service

The owners are wonderful and very kind! Free breakfast buffet every morning is delicious and they will cook fresh eggs with whatever fixing you like, however you’d like them prepared! Dinner isn’t free but they offer a wide variety of dishes that are handmade and taste great! Great hospitality from owners at all times. Rooms are very modern, spacious, comfortable, and clean. I stayed here for 25ish days and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Ramstein/KMC area!

Awesome hotel.

I was there for work and had booked 2 nights. For professional reasons, I left in the afternoon after the first night. I can understand that the second night had to be counted due to late check-out, but to still calculate the breakfast that was not taken is just bold and outrageous in my eyes. I will not book this hotel anymore.

Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast!

Host was incredibly accommodating when we found ourselves in a difficult situation while travelling from the USA. A nearby hotel, Michaela hotel, cancelled our reservation after we paid her and he picked us up and provided lodging and even drove us to Ramstein air base to help us during our stay. Cannot state enough how perfect of an experience host provided and can strongly encourage anybody to stay with him anytime. As we're in the lodging business ourselves, we know quality customer service, and it was provided beyond measure. Bob & Tina Orr

This is a very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is superb and the parking is plentiful and free. Convenient to the air base as well. I plan on staying here again.

Great hotel

An easy place to bed down, beating out many others in the area with comfortable beds and an excellent breakfast each morning including waffles, pancakes, eggs cooked to order as well as the normal German selections of breads, cheeses and meats as well as cereals and coffee.

The Ramsteiner Hof is hotel located minutes from Ramstein Air Base. When you think of the word "hotel", you usually think of the standard room and service type like those big hotel chains, but Ramsteiner Hof was MUCH more than that. It is a beautifully renovated building own and ran by the Hechler family. They did a magnificent job in putting a little bit of modernization within the bathrooms while still keeping the wonderful home feeling within the establishment. The breakfast was fresh and made to order. The dining area was quaint with the lovely exposed beams. I loved the touch of tradition at the Ramsteiner. They are great hostesses and the next time I come through, I will definitely try to book my nights there. The Ramsteiner is welcoming, homey, cozy and quaint and felt more like a bed and breakfast with family. I highly recommend staying with the Hechlers!

A very nice hotel with large rooms and a comfortable bed. I stayed 10 days and it was convenient to the entire KMC area. I will stay here again when I am in the area.

The room was massive. They upgraded me to the apartment which was still under my per diem. There bathroom was awesome, it even had a towel warmer. Would totally stay there again.

Great place to stay. The family that runs the hotel is accommodating, breakfast is awesome, close walk to lots of tasty restaurants.

Very caring staff.

Great hotel and awesome breakfast. The guy who was running the place checked us in, served our beers, and served us breakfast. Hard working group and very pleasent stay.

Great place. A lot of restaurants around where to eat. Nice rooms. I will definitely come back. This hotel is an example of courtesy and professionalism. One of its most important characteristics is the excellent cuisine together with the absolute discretion of the staff who, without being at all intrusive, try to satisfy the needs of their customers. In one word: "recommended".

Excellent place to stay!

Nice place. Stayed one night visiting Landstuhl. No ac in apartment but relatively cool night. Road noise could be a problem for some. Breakfast was very good with eggs to order.

I always like to enjoy the friendly reception of the Hechler family and I always look forward to the extensive breakfast, especially pancakes and waffles :-)
